Hey everyone! I'm brand new to this forum and hoping that the experts here can help me. I plan on getting a new double-din navigation system for my 1999 GMC Envoy. In order for me to fit the double-din in correctly and make it look nice, I need to relocate the AC pod to where the current Bose factory six-disc changer is. I know I'm going to have to somehow create a new housing for the AC pod, either out of fiberglass or something else. I have no clue where to even begin. I am a complete beginner in car audio and electronics, so any help that you can give me in this whole process would be great. I got a quote from a good installer around here for over $700, and would like to save money by doing it myself. Included is a picture of what it looks like now and a crappy Photoshopped copy that I threw together to show what I'm aiming to do. Again, thanks for any help anyone can give me!
