Today while driving to class I knoticed the blue compustar LED lit up and shortly after the alarm triggered and would not turn off with the remote until I turned off the ignition first, I did not have the 2 way with me so I don't know what zone triggered, this never happened before in over 6 months of service, was looking for advice, thanks,

Never heard of this happening before on a CM3000 CPU, but if it happens again, bring it back to the place you bought it from and get the CPU replaced. You have limited lifetime warranty on the unit if installed and purcahsed from a Compustar dealer.

I had this happen again after crossing a railroad grade, the led lit up but alarm does not trigger until I try to turn it off, this time I pulled into a side street and shut the truck off, turned alarm off and back to normal again, I will look into the warrenty,

thanks for the input,

Sounds like you were in PASSIVE MODE. by accident you can press two button together. which is ummmm. II and III together. for .01 of a second. this will lock your doors 30 after a door trigger was triggered. So if you jumped into your car and its on passive. It'll lock and arm your alarm. LOL so make sure passive is off. If you dont have a two way. I think its on the back of your remote. word.

if i was in passive mode wouldn't the unit arm all the time and not while driving? this thing is haunted, worked flawlessly for six months, yesterday it was dead and would not arm at all, no response from either remote, but later that night it armed on its own posted_image was an ebay purchase that I installed so not much warrenty help,
