I'm trying to do my brother's car but we ran into a few problems. I tried following mode 1 on 556H but its does work. Can someone tell me if I should use mode 1 or 2? The manual came with 556H says to use mode 2, but couldn't find the wires they listed. Wires were available for mode 1. Also, does anyone know where the door trigger is located? I tried looking but could find. Thanks.

BLACK/ white (-) at the interior light switch. When using the 556HW, follow the mode 2 wiring diagram. The reference wire is BROWN / black, data 1 wire is red, data 2 wire is blue and ignition wire is yellow/black.

Hello, I have the info for the interior light switch. But I couldn't figure out what or where is that located. Is that near the DKP ?

The interior light switch is any light that responds to the door opening and closing. The overhead light, door light or cargo lights.
