Hi out there i'm having a slight problem with a xr-7025 security/start system it seems to not have a factory bypass negative output to turn on a dei 555f for 1999 lincoln navigator what i was thinking is to tap into the start wire and us a relay to reverse the polarity to operate the bypass module wondering if anyone has ever tried this with a system with no negative output when remote start is activated and if so did it work thx in advance

I haven't tried it, but i imagine the starter wire wont give enuff time for the module to send a signal to the ignition. I would use the ignition wire off the remote start, because it should kick on a second or two before the car tries to start. The only prob with this, is that the pats system will be bypassed at all times without the proper setup. Like i said, i haven't tried, so, i could be wrong.
