fortin bypass key override sl

Does anyone know if these units from Fortin can be erased once programmed?
I know some of these devices are, at times, made for specific vehicles. Most are made for multiple vehicles.

For example, the KEY-OVERRIDE-SL model can be used for a Ford, Mecury, Lincoln, Mazda, Toyota & Lexus vehicles.
Now if, let's say, you have one programmed for a Ford but later decided to use it a Toyota, does it need to be erased then re-programmed for the new car?
Just wondering if this a 1-way deal with these bypasses..

Im pretty sure the Keyoveride SL can be REprogramed to any specific car. You dont have to erase it but reprogram. Shouldnt be a hassel.

So, in a way, the old info is 'erased' by re-programming to the new car as long as it a Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Mazda, Toyota or Lexus vehicles.
Anyone else have an input about this?

I'm trying to compare this to the XPRESSKIT XK05 with different firmware programming to specific cars. The only way for this device to be used on another cars is to have it sent and re-programmed to another firmware for the new cars.

Both are NKR (No Key Required) Bypass units.

Any thoughts?
