There has to be a way to arm and disarm the factory alarm other than with the factory remote. The alarm will arm when manually locking the door with it open, so that can be a way to get around the arming, but inserting key in the door and unlocking doesnt seem to disarm. help!posted_image

nope, there isn't......i think you can put the factory alarm in valet mode though......open the drivers door, and hold either the lock or unlock button....can't remember which one, but i think it is lock. Anyways, hold the button down for about 6 seconds, this should put it in valet. I'm not completely sure it will work on this car, but this is how i used to disable the alarm on the subies i've done..........i think this info is also in the owners manual.
