im install alarm for my 2003 nissan 350z, But..........but........im.......

any one can teach me ? what mean sigle pulse and what is double pulse, for alarm lock & unlock ?

nissan 350z it use how many wire for lock & unlock ? because i only can find one wire, that wire only move unlock when i test it ?

lock & unlock wire locate at where??

any one can teach me, i would very appreciate.

my old toyota car, i install alarm before, that car have lock & unlock wire,i just follow alarm installation diagram install,that no problem for me.

but now this 350Z i really dont know what is sigle pulse & double pulse...........

can any one help???

Here is what DEI lists for your door locks:

Power Lock red - driver door module in door
Power Unlock lt. blue (double pulse) - driver door module in door

This means you would need to run your door lock interface wires into the door to get to these wires. Double pulse unlock is a setting that is programmable on most after market systems. Take a look at your system's programmable options, you should see a listing for double pulse unlock.

Honestly, if you need to know this information about your vehicle and you don't know the difference, I would HIGHLY suggest going to a qualified installer for this installation. The Nissan 350 is an expensive machine and if you damage anything on there, it will far out weigh the money you would have saved to have this installed by a professional.

Hi Guy.

thank for the information.

anyway, im install VAV V-900 alarm system for my 350z , i like this because the remote flip key, i read my installation instructions and i dont think it can program to double pluse unlock.im just thinking!! if the alarm itself can not programmable, is it posible any aftermarket relay or module can add to the alarm?

You also need a double pulse of less than .750 seconds each pulse .. usually you can program a 0.125 second negative double pulse... the longer the pulse, the more likely that negative pulse will trigger the window roll down feature (if that's a feature on your nissan)
