I brought my truck to the dealership for a service and now my doors DO NOT lock with the alarm remote.  I have done some research and it seems the DEI DATABUS may need to be reprogrammed? What would have caused this??  I don't want to ever have this issue again, I thought the doors were locked and they weren't...The alarm still responds when the door is opened tho....someone could of opened the door and stole a few things before i would of gotten to the vehicle.....  Thanks for any help or advice!!!!!!!!

Programming the 457G is fairly simple. Check out the owner's manual here.

The 1700G manual can be found here. The 1700G does not normally need to be reprogrammed, it just requires the vehicle to be started with the key prior to it operating.

Nice, thanks for that.  What would be a typical cause for the door locks to stop responding to the remote?  I dont want this to ever happen again....Thank you!  This all happened today....I just had my truck at the dealership last night for a major service....and today its not working right...

Does that 1700G need constant power for it's memory module?  If that's the case, perhaps the dealership disconnected the battery for whatever reason during their diagnostics/repair ...
