2004 Ford Explorer Limited. I installed a remote starter 2 years ago,(Compustart 3000) customer says that the unit worked great untill thje alarm start sounding one night for no reason. Only the Doors are connected to the alarm nothing else. He says that when he heard the alarm sound he reset it via the remote, and 20 minutes later in started again, and continued in 20 minute intervals until he pulled the fuses. I can't find a trouble shooting guide for this unit , any one have some ideas, I did this as a favor for the guy, my shop is an automotive repair shop. Thanks in advance.

No shock sensor? Have you put the fuses back in and tested the unit. What kind of conditions was the car in when it went off, any wind, rain, pitbull tryng to hump the tire? It could be a bad brain, shock, or possibly a bad door latch on the vehicle. I couldn't find anything on the that system either, so i'm not gonna be much help. Hopefully the system, once set off will flash a certain pattern on the led....once you get the owners manual....this should tell you what zone is setting off the alarm.

If it's the door triggers then you may have a bad diode in the line. Check to see if the diodes that you installed as still good.
