hey guys i have read every forum on a galant.. i just have one more thing to ask.. is there anything that i need to know before i install an aps 997 into a 2003 galant v6. i know about the tach wire.. but i was meaning like for example i installed an aps 996a in a chevy truck and i hade to put a diode so the security light on the dash will disappear.. is there anything like that , on this installation of the car??? pls reply.. thanks in advanced...

Nope, this car is straight forward...and easy. I think you will need a transponder bypass though.

thanks man.. also i have one more concern.. where is the distributor located with the white wire that i need.. for the remote start...??
