Hey guys, noob here. I am trying to wire in power door locks on my Son's 72 Nova with a Viper 3000 alarm. I'm about ready to pull whatever remaining hairs I have out over this thing.

I did a search and saw some that looked close but I could not figure it out. I have the pigtail in the alarm. 2 bosch relays, actuators, test light, 12+ and ground all within reach. I also have the actuators mounted in the doors and have checked it out and they work. I cannot for the life of me figure out which wires from the alarm plug into which posts on the relays, as well as 12+ pwr and ground. Is there anyway someone can explain this to me.

Thanks ahead of time,

Mike

Which color wires come from the alarm to the relays?

The system has built in relays, so you dont need to add any.

WHITE/ black and BROWN / black.........ground

violet/black and violet.........12 volts......both wires are common at fuseholder

blue/black to one wire of the actuator and GREEN/ black to the other wire.......just switch these two if the output to locks is incorrect.

ground your violet and violet and black wire H2/D and H2/G. H2/C Green and black goes to post 30 on the lock relay H2/F blue and black goes to post 85 on your unlock relay. Your alarm has built in relays you could also use it that way but if you have your bosch relays in place you can use them too.

It's reverse polarity just like the diagram bigmike put up.....except the relays are built into the alarm.
