I have the cheapest car-alarm out there. It's a Design-Tech First Defense. This thing gets the job done but it doesn't have a blinking red light or anything.

How can I add one that'll turn on when I arm my alarm?

If I have to use a switched one I will, but would rather have it turn on when I arm the alarm.

Thanx to all!

you can buy the led lights and they come with three wires that when the ignition is off the lights go on or you can wire it to the starter cut off switch wire that then the alarm is armed and the negative goes to the cut off it will turn the light on..
