another problem I need some help with.

Although my remote still controls the alarm and everything works when I press a button. I'm having a problem with the remote note corresponding with the command. When I arm the alarm, the screen still displays that it is unarmed and then gives me a series of beeps. the same series that it normally would give if it was out of range.

this happens with all commands. I remote started the car today and the remote did not display the exhaust icon. it also gave me the beeps. it does it with all commands.

what can the problem be? how can I fix it?

sounds like ur remote might need reprogrammed or the antenna is in a bad area...

Try changing the battery in the remote the ones the DEI units come with suck. On my 791 XV with the battery right out of the box my range sucked and the screen on the remote did not work. Put in a duracell and haven't had a problem since.
