I just finished the Hornet 560t RS install. The parking lights and gauge keep blinking when RS is on. There's no settings available on the 560t. Is there a way to stop them from blinking or keep just keep them on?

Are you sure it's the remote starter causing this? Can you disconnect the wire coming from the remote starter and measure the output to see if it's pulsing on and off? I have never used that brand before so I can't give you specifics on that.

The 560T does not have the ability to change the output from flashing to constant. The blinking lights are normal for this system.

Although it is not the correct way to do it, you could use the status output to trigger a relay for your parking lights. This output goes to negative when the remote start is activated and provides a constant output. The only down side to doing it with the status is that the parking light output only activates once the starter knows the vehicle is running, whereas the status output is an output that is on anytime the remote start is activated. This really is not a big deal, but I just wanted to make sure you knew the difference.

Could you give me the specific wires I need to connect to 85-86-87a etc. on the relay.

You may not need a relay for that vehicle, as I believe the negative parking light trigger activates a factory relay. To test this, take an old fashioned bulb test light, ground the clamp and tap the probe to the negative parking light wire in the vehicle (light green at the steering column). If the parking lights come on then you do not need an additional relay. If they do not come on you would wire a relay like:

Pin 86 - Status output from starter
Pin 85 - 5 amp fused constant +12V
Pin 30 - Ground
Pin 87 - Out to green negative parking light wire in vehicle

yea theres a relay...so just wire the status output directly to green negative parking light wire at the steering column?

If the parking lights activated with the test light then you do not need a relay. Just hooking the status output to the negative trigger will work fine.

The Hornet 570t I installed is not working anymore. Nothing happens whenever I press the transmitter. I can't even program the transmitter to the module. It's like the module is not getting any input. I checked all the connections and they are correct. I used a DMM and there is power going through both red wires(constant 12v --->fuse---> module). Ground is on good.

I spent hours double checking all the wires and they are all good. I also exchanged the whole unit for a new one and its the same thing.

What's going on?! Please help... 2003 Toyota Celica GT

Is the keyless entry part of it still working? If so check to make sure that the neutral saftey switch or hood pin is still intact. I would also go back and test ALL of the connections made for this system again, fuses, the works, you might have missed something stupid..i have in the past posted_image

I'll check everything again tomorrow. Anybody else have tips for troubleshooting this problem.

only thing that would make the 570T not respond at all, would be remote not programmed, (which would suck) no power, and antenna wire not hooked up.

YOu can try programming the transmitter. First, remove both 12 constant fuses, then put them back it.  Turn ignition to on, parking lights should come on.  Press and hold program button on the brain. Parking lights will flash off and then back on to confirm in programming mode. THen press and hols first button on transmitter. Parking lights will flash off and back on to confirm remote programmed.
