      Hey guys,  my civic currently has the honda security alarm. I just bought the hornet 740t. my question is, can go ahead and install it or do i have to take out the factory alarm? thanks!

      You can leave the factory system in. You'll wanna hook up the disarm wire of factory system, this way, if the factory system ever gets armed, the new system you put in will be able to disarm it.

      sounds good, currently the fuses are taken out, would i have to put em back in and hook up the disarm? where do i hook up the disarm to(to the hornet)? or can i just hook up the hornet without having to do what you mentioned?

      Nevermind on the factory disarm wire....according to directechs the factory alarm can only be armed and disarmed with the factory tx. You can still leave the factory system in though.

      perrrrfect! thanks! i also one more question... for the starter kill feature, the manual says to cut my the starter motor/starter motor relay. Do i really cut that?
