Programming option 1-1 change this to option # 1 instead of # 3.

I actually set it to option #2, cuz i need it to unlock first, start then relock since my car has a ignition kill built in so if the alarm does not unlock first, car will not start.

If i set it to #1, then it will not unlock first.

So since i'm using option #2, am i stuck with it locking after remote starting if the car is unlocked?

If equipped with a factory alarm, the alarm will be plugged into the factory alarm plug. The only way to arm and disarm the factory alarm is with the factory remote. You don not need to have the Compustar unit unlock and relock because it doesn't arm the OEM system via the door lock. Change the setting back to default and then this should solve the issue that you have.

no no, its the immobilizer, i dont have a factory alarm, its just how bmw's are, if locked then the car will not start. From what i have read, theres no way around it. So to confirm if i have it at option #2, then it will always lock after starting even  though car is unlocked?

Set up the OEM alarm disarm to the UNLOCK wire and this will unlock the door everytime your remote start the vehicle. Use a diode to separate the unlock pulse from the DISARM pulse. Also a 1994 BMW 325i does not have an immobilizer ( key based RF ), it has a OEM alarm that also has a starter disable built into the system. Lock to arm and unlock to disarm. Only in 1996 + did it have an immobilizer.

no my car does not have an oem alarm. i wired up the car so when lock is pressed, that it sends signal to lock and unlock at same time so it double locks. now the problem is that when its double locked, the fuel pump is turned off so car will not start. only way is to unlock start and lock. i cant think of anyway of the car will start without unlocking first.
