has anyone experienced a problem with the instrument cluster lighting when installing a remote starter on 2000-up chev monte carlos and impalas? at 1st we went neg. to the lt. blue @ the switch. we suspect doing this took out some instrument panel lights. we then went positive to the BROWN / wht @ the switch and were told not to do that as well. that the bcm gets upset because it sees a high on the output without sending its own output. i now have the parkinglight circiut from the remote starter diode isolated to the output @ the bcm ( white wire pin 8 in pink plug }. the customer called and claims another light went out the day after i hooked up the parkinglights again. if anyone has some insight to this problem it would be great. thanks.

When you say a lught went out, do you mean a bulb burned out ?
