i installed the remote start, acording to the manual. the remote start acts like it wants to crank but dies. do i need a immobilizer, and if so which kind. i seen 3 diffrent ones from passlock I, II, and vats. need help. thanks

Yes, you do need a bypass. https://bypasskit.com/ punch in your year, make, and model at the top and it'll tell you what you need.
