I'm not sure if there is already one of these products out and I can't find it or what. Is there a universal Neutral safety switch where (Like a lot of the manual remote starts) you have to do the procedure to set the neutral switch. (Car running, e-brake up, clutch released, brake press) if so then you could add that to any alarm. Also I haven't talked to any one else about this.

While training at the Snake Pit a DEI installer mentioned a ring that would go around the shifter that would sense if the vehicle was in neutral.  This kit would work with all DEI remote start systems. They mentioned that it should be coming out in the summer.  For now I would recommend a remote start that has reservation mode like compustar remte starts.
