Ill tell ya only if you installed a manual safe unit.................... Find a gray/black in the drivers kick. It will show ground when the clutch is pushed in, or not. Connect your starter output from your unit to this wire istead of the wire at the ign. harness. -------------

yes it is a manual safe unit, its a commandstart 595i. So the Grey/Black wire in the kick, it will read (-) all the time, and then when you push the clutch in and crank with the key it will send a (+) signal to the starter, making this wire where i connect the starter output from the unit to? ------------- Matthew Robertson

print this.... 12 VOLTS | Red | Ignition switch harness | + | IGNITION | GREEN/ YELLOW | Ignition switch harness | + | ACCESSORY | Pink / YELLOW | Ignition switch harness | + | STARTER | Gray/Black | Ignition switch harness | + | KEY SENSE | RED / black | Ignition switch harness | + | TACH SIGNAL | Use an injector | | | FUEL INJECTOR | Opposite of GREEN/ blue | At any injector on engine | AC | LOCK | GREEN/ Red | Driver's Kick Panel | - | | | This is a 1-wire system. A ground to unlock and ground through a 1K resistor to lock. If the vehicle is equipped with a factory alarm, use the arm/disarm instead. |
| UNLOCK | GREEN/ Red | Driver's Kick Panel | - | | | This is a 1-wire system. A ground to unlock and ground through a 1K resistor to lock. If the vehicle is equipped with a factory alarm, use the arm/disarm instead. |
| DOORPIN | SEE NOTES | | | | | On the 4-door model, the doorpins rest at ground with the doors closed and some special wiring will be required. See the supplied diagram for details. BLACK / YELLOW (Driver's Door), BLACK/ Blue (Passenger Door), BLACK/ Orange (Left Rear), BLACK/ Green (Right Rear), All wires are found in a brown plug on the junction block below the glovebox. The doors are (+) trigger on the 2 door model, same colors. |
| TRUNK PIN | BLACK/ red | On junction block below glovebox | - | | FACTORY ARM | BLACK/ Blue | In driver's kickpanel | - | | | These Wires also control Doorlocks. Disarm/Unlock will require a double pulse. |
| FACTORY DISARM | BLACK/ White | In driver's kickpanel | - | | | These Wires also control Doorlocks. Disarm/Unlock will require a double pulse. |
| BRAKESWITCH | RED / White | At switch above brake pedal or DKP | - | PARKLIGHTS | BLACK/ White | At light switch harness | - | HAND BRAKE | BLACK/ green | At switch on handbrake lever | - | HORN | Black | Steering column harness | - | | | There seems to be a problem with the horn circuit on these vehicles and the circuit can blow unexpectedly. Though Mazda has not issues an official recall as of yet, we strongly recommend NOT connecting to the horn in this car |
| HEADLIGHTS | BLACK/ green | At light switch harness | - | VSS WIRE | WHITE/ blue or WHITE/ red | At pin 1J of PCM | | | | WHITE/ blue if with M/T and WHITE/ red for the A/T. |
