Hey guys, i'm kinda new to this whole forum thing, but i'm hoping to find some assitance with this immobilizer.  I'm using a remote start in a Ford Focus (standard shift) in conjunction with the 556u bypass module :: Since I only have on key for the car, I placed that chipped key in the module so that the remote start could be used.  I made a cheap copy of the key so i'd have something to turn in the ignition.... The issue: I can remote start the car, put my copied key (non chipped/programmed) in the ignition, hit the brake and go.. but if i dont want to remote start, and i just turn the key, nothing happens. the security LED on the dash just blinks over and over, and the car doesnt crank.

The only way to start the car is by remote starting it.  Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

-Kevin

connect the pink wire from the 556U module to an ignition wire and it will start all the time.

that is exactly what i would do just keep the pink wire to ignition of the car and it will always start..

yeah that will work but it will bypass the point of having the chip in the key if a thief tries to steal it  by blowing out the lock cylinder
