Hi all I think I found my factory alarm shutdown (lt GREEN/ orange trace) but it shows negative. The datasheet says to disarm the factory alarm I need to pulse it with positive @750ohms, but Im afraid to send voltage on that wire since it shows ground. It also plugs right into the BCM and I don't wanna fry that. Am I doing the right thing or have I found the wrong wire?

a site im looking at is saying the same as you are saying, light GREEN/ orange at the BCM located by the fuse box on the drivers side. check the wire with a DMM to see if it functions as you are being told by sitting in the car and arming your system and all this while you have a DMM hooked up to that wire in question, now disarm and watch your meter!! worrys solved!! Dont forget that 750 OHM resistor. Most R/s ive dealt with only put out a neg pulse through the FASD wire so use a relay to convert that siganl to positive, and off your relay to your cars disarm wire is where you will put that resistor. I hope this helps.

I check it with a meter shows negative no matter what. Should I be pulsing it wth positive? will it fry the BCM?

TEST TEST TEST!
The correct wire will change state when the key is turned in the exterior lock cylinder on the door.

The info says connector 4, pin 4. As Chris mentioned you should be testing it while turning the key in the drivers door cylinder. If it doesn't test, close the door arm the alarm and then open the door with the key and see if the alarm goes off. I have seen a few of these cars that the key cylinder no longer disarms the alarm for whatever reason.

That was the wire and it did go positive when I turned the door lock on the drivers side. Thanks for your help.
