Hi just wondering if anybody can help me locate pwr door lock/unlock harness picture will help.
trying to install alarm but having trouble locating that harness so pls help thanks
always include ALL the vehicle info. Year?

The alarm plug is a black 12 pin plug located just behind the glove box. It is mounted with the pins facing you atop a vent just to the left of the body computer. They are positive and are WHITE/ red and blue/red

BMW factory security connector
BMW 3, 5 and 7 series for 1992 to 1998 have a pre-wired factory security connector that can be useful when adding
after-market accessories such as alarms and keyless entry systems. On the 3 series this connector can be found behind
the glovebox near the center console. On the 5 series it can be found either in the same location as the 3 series, or
under the back seat near the battery. On the 7 series this connector can be found near the brake pedal under the
passenger side dash. The layout for this connector is as follows:
PIN FUNCTION WIRE COLOR POLARITY
1. 12 Volts constant RED / gray +
2. Ignition PURPLE / white –
3. Ground Brown -
4. Drivers door trigger BROWN / gray -
5. Passenger door trigger BROWN / blue -
6. Rear door trigger BROWN / purple -
7. Horn trigger BLACK/ blue +
8. NOT USED

ill try that wire but not sure if im using the right wires ill take some pics then post it but anyways thanks for the tips ill check tomorrow
