I just bought a 99 Dakota with a prostart remote starter on it, but  the automatic locks are not programmed on the remote starter buttons. Does anyone know how i could program this?

You need to pull the remote start unit down and see if the locks are even connected?

LOCK ORANGE / white Remote access module   Rev Pol 
 The remote access module is located to the right of the glovebox, use a reverse polarity configuration.
 UNLOCK Lt.green Remote access module   Rev Pol 
 The remote access module is located to the right of the glovebox, use a reverse polarity configuration.
