Just looking at the wiring for the 556HW on a 2004 Odyssey. I have done a search here already and haven't found the answer. So far, here is what i have.

Mode 2 Wiring.

556H          ODY            Notes
====          ===            =====
Blue/White    Ground in from Starter
ORANGE / Black ORANGE / Blue    Data 2 In
Yellow        Blue/Green     Data 1 Out
Yellow/Blk    Blue/Green     Data 1 IN
Pink          Yellow/Black   Ignition In
GREEN        ????????????
Red           +12V
Black        Ground

Does anyone know where i connect the Green Reference wire from the 556H on Mode 2 Wiring. Mode 1 says connect to Pin 1 of the Ignition Switch. Does this apply to Mode 2 as well, Or is it not needed?

On the 556H you have 2 papers.  It should tell you all that you need.  The second paper has the wiring for mode 2.  you can also find it here https://www.directedstore.com/manuals/556HW.pdf

Also the reference wire is always the first pin of the immobilizer harness
