Who would you guys recommend to install a viper alarm/remote start on a 2007 Maxima with the intelligent key I'm willing to drive up to 60 miles from NYC.

I know you said 60 miles, but let me know if you ever head up to Boston. But I only have Audiovox, not Viper.
Also, keep in mind that if you put an alarm/starter combo in that car, you're going to have to stop using the buttons on the Intelligent Key, and stop using the rubber buttons on the outside of the door.....because if you do, the aftermarket alarm will go off.
You might want to instead get a simple 1-button remote start, stick with the factory alarm, and maybe add a pager or something.

Chris i have a question in regards to this. what bypass do you use? Have you ever used the CAN-SL2 for the maxima?

Telmax your Max has the knob style key cylinder? I am a mod over at infinitifx.org (i own a FX45) and do tons of alarm/remote starts on them- they have the same system. All you need is a valet key and a key in a box bypass. Nothing else is needed. Like Chris said, if you want to add a combo piece you will need to carry a second remote. But I can put an upgrade alarm and remote start off of your I-key. No extra remote needed. You are just limited to the range of the I-key remote (not too bad). I am out on LI, near Islip Macarthur Airport (about an hour from NYC) 50 miles ish away. Drop me a PM (for some reason I don't get notified of post replies via email) and we can set you up.
