Installed a remote start/alarm on this vehicel but can not get the door locks to work. Do I have to use a relay to power them?

You need 2 relays and resistors. DEI lists this for the 2000 Stratus:
DODGE, STRATUS, 2000, Power Lock
Use positive (+) trigger thru a 620 ohm resistor to lock, and a positive (+) trigger thru a 2.7K ohm resistor to unlock. Must use relays.
So, you are wiring up two relays with the proper resistor values inline to the WHITE/ green at the rear of fuse box under dash.

Thanks for quick response! I am using a Commando door lock relay module Door Lock Relay Module which is primarily for Vehicles with Positve Polarity Door Locks. No resistors were used in this set-up.

As you have noticed, since no resistors were used, the doors will not lock or unlock. The resistors need to be there, or you could go into each door to the actuators themselves and 5-wire each but that is a lot of work that is not needed when $1.00 worth of resistors added in will do the trick.
