is there any way to rig a remote start kit to turn on the accessory power only?   i've heard remote starts are a pain to install on man. trans cars anyways, but i want my carputer to be booted by the time i get into the car...

depends on the experience...try getting a remote start that is manual safe and you should be ok..we/I am always here to help
