Hello

In car alarm manuals such as directed electronics products, etc. you can see in diagrams how to bypass the VATS using a relay. but, is there any way in which I could bypass my PATS from Ford motor company using a relay too? In the key cilinder I can see a little PATS module with 4 negative signal wires.

Help will be well received.

Thank you guys.

well you can use a relay, but you still need an extra key then too...or a bypass module like the XK04 from xpresskit.com in order to get around it.   VATS is resistance based, however PATS is transponder based.

that is correcto! Which mean your going to have to by a module unless you want to lose a 70 dollar key. I suggest you use a pats modules for you vehicle. Hope you have two keys.
