Hi, i am trying to install a cobra 3193 alarm to an existing central locking system on a 2003 partner van. I have located an orange 0v with 12v on lock / and a violet with 0v and 12v on unlock, when connected to my alarm ORANGE / white & voilet/white the remote will not lock the doors. the alarm seems to be 0v trigger can someone please help!

if you press the switch and it gives you 12 after its resting at 0 then its a positive trigger. If your alarm doesnt have positvie lock ouputs then you must use relays to change to polarity to positive.
