1997Chevy Tahoe When remote start feature is used the service engine light does not clear.

when Truck is started by key service engine is cleared .

can you help with some advice please

It sounds like you forgot to connect an extra wire, mainly ignition. Make sure you are have power to this wires. You said that the light doesn't show when car is started with key, so more likely that is the problem.

Notes:
*1 The pink/white does not exist on all models.

Sounds like you missed the white wire, sends power to the tranny and sets a lot of codes when it doesn't have power with a hot ignition
