I'm still contemplating putting a DEI 530T window module in my 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII that has a CompuStar 2W900FSAS (CM3000-V.3) installed already.
After help from Velocity Motors, it seems that setting the Aux channel to latched is the way to control the 530T.
I've been pondering this over some, and came up with an idea that I wanted to run by ya'll (famous last words ;) )
Could I hook up both Aux channels from the CompuStar unit to the Aux input on the 530T and change for instance Aux 1 so it is latched, and put Aux 2 so it is pulsed .5 seconds? I would/could diode isolate them if needed too. I figured this way Aux 1 could roll the windows down all the way, and Aux 2 would just vent them??!!
Please let me know if this would work (Velocity?)
Also, the default latched mode (option 2-6 & 2-7) on the CompuStar is timed how long without using a programmer to change it?
Thanks for the help all,
Jon

This is my window diagram:

well if you wanted to change the time on the timed latch you would need a op500 optional programmer.

"dont ground out!"
Thats why I asked how long the default latched mode is without using the programmer
If you program it to latched without a Programmer, I think it stays latched until you activate the same aux. channel again. I'm not 100% sure though, because I always use a programmer.
I guess I can test the time it latches pretty easily myself :)
Anyone have any thoughts on if my idea in my first post will even work? Would diode isolation be needed, etc?
Thanks.

just went through this...
The aux channels on "latch" mode stay latched until you push the aux button a second time. So you have to make sure that you "turn off" the aux output every time the window is finished rolling up or down. The pulse output will just barely crack the window, so you might have to push that aux output a couple times to get them down enough.
I wish the compustar had a "neg. output when armed" like some other alarms.

Thanks for the info, guess I don't need to test it
I thought the violet wire (status wire) was a "- when armed" wire?
