Installed an add-on remote start to a 99 accord and everything works perfect except for the remotes do not operate after the car is running, this causes a problem when trying to get into the vehicle. I have programed the remote start activation to enable on lock 3 pulses, but after running into this problem i changed it to unlock 3 times. Anyone got info on factory alarm ignition wire, or how to enable the remotes to work again after starting? Thanks in advance.

what type of remote start did you install? And why would you need triple pulse for on a accord? hmm. need to know more info homie. So your saying after remote starting the vehicle your R/F doesnt respond? Is that correct?

honda factory remotes do not work when the car is running. You need to use the key in the door.

Used a generic remote starter and it requires a triple pulse or a single pulse to start, when using an aftermarket alarm a single pulse is fine, but when using a factory keyless triple is better to insure starting when actually wanted. My question is how do i get the factory keyless to think the ignition is off when remote started then allowing the keyless entry to still operate.

Ok figured it out myself. Just for anyone outthere with picky customers who want remote start and dont want to change their remote this is what u have to do. Find the multi plex unit (fuse box drivers side) DMM test for a blue wire with a white trace rests at 12v with ign off, ign on goes to ground. Cut blue wire with white trace, add in a constant 12v fused with a 10 amp fuse - problem solved. :) Thanks for all the speedy responses and help though guys!

6 wire harness for the door locks? If so, this unit has built in door lock relays. The wires should be labeled, N.C. (normaly closed) N.O. (normally open) and common. The represent pins on a standard relay. in this order 87a, 87, and 30.
