I am having trouble connecting my alarm to the door triggers of my Durango. When I connected them, after arming, about 30-60 sec. later the alarm goes off thinking that a door is open. I tested the wires and with the door open it reads 6.6 mv. With the door closed and the domelight on it will read 11.5 v. However, when the domelight goes out, the voltage drops to .750 v. If any one can help, I would appreciate it.

what equipment are you using? some units have a programable dome delay circuit.

Refer to DirectFax 1076 for wiring information.  Your vehicle systems shut down therefore causing the false alarm.  Look for that doc on this website and it will solve your problem.

I have read the direct Fax 1076. Thank You so much, I have been trying to fix this problem for a few weeks. Do you know if I can put the diodes in-line right before I connect the alarm input wires?

Sorry rudydapump it is not the dome light circuit, by enabling the dome light delay feature the door triggers are just bypassed. The alarm thinks the car is being armed with the doors open, causing it to bypass them.

There is a reason why there is 2 diodes in line with the BCM.  One on the BCM and the other on the input wire.
