I have a remote car starter that does not work now and the batteries are brand new. I had to replace the car battery and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it -- does the remote starter have to be reset? Currently, only the two remote door lock keypads only work.

What kind of remote start do you have, some go into valet mode automatically when power is lost or disconnected.

It's a crimestopper. And it does have a valet switch. I will try hitting this button and see what happens. Thanks!

I would look at the users manal it probanly tells the sequense needed to remove from valet mode, I can't remember it for the crimestopper.
