OK what is it?  I am not looking for advertised range either:  What unit has the longest verified range?  I have got some pretty good range on a Commando FM760 (same as Autopage 750LCD, and Marksman M?)  but I think my previous Commando 2 way still had better range.  It doesn't have to be a 2 way unit, just have long range.  I am just curious too, I am not necessarily in the market for one.

I just spoke to the supplier of Lynx & they said that the units they are shipping me have about 1 mile - 1.5 mile range. This is the two way high frequency systems. Again, this is only said by the company & not from actual installation onto a vehicle. The ones that i have installed all have very good range but have not tested for range yet. The best I have gotten so far is 4 blocks with a pitch of 30 degrees where I was on the lower plane and the vehicle was in the upper plane.

Code Systems' new two way  has 1 mile, I havent proven it yet though. I know their F-65 gets at least 200 yards on a "bad day" and 300 yards + straight on.
