Has anyone encountered a problem with factory power door locks not synchronizing well after installing aftermarket keyless entry? As the lock/unlock is a single wire (WHITE/ yellow-negative pulse switches lock/unlock)
Keyless entry works fine but if left for a while,it changes when you lock it unlocks the door and vise versa. When the factory remotes are used to lock/unlock and then the aftermarket,it starts working fine again.
I have read in the wiring schematics about using the motor lock and unlock wires(blue/red and BLACK/ red)This is said to be a 5 wire.
I do not want to try something which might make matters worse but any info on this will be very much appreciated.
Thanks..

You must use the 5 wire system on these vehicles no exceptions

Study this diagram carefully, then search "5-wire" under Car Security and Convenience

Could i get a little bit more detailed info about the correct wire colours and location and is it a 5 wire reversal rest at ground?
Thanks

Heres the fix (from the Astroflex astrochart))

For lock: @ the central timer module under the drivers seat, find a blue/red. in a gray plug. wire it for rev. polarity. (12v to pin 87 and 86. negative trigger from your alarm to 85. 87a gets the "plug side" of the blue/red, and 30 gets the other side of the blue/red) This wire controls the passengers door lock motor.

unlock: @ the same module under the seat in the pink plug find a WHITE/ yellow. wire this for negative pulse.
