I'm installing a remote start in my '99 Ford F-150. I'm concerned if I have the wires connected right. As of now I have the two wires connected to the door lock actuator wires. The remote lock/unlock work fine but when I push lock/unlock on the door panel they are very weak. If I keep pushing the remote lock/unlock I end up blowing a fuse and then my door panel locks work good again. I need help It would be greatly appreciated!

What wires are you connected to? If your truck has factory keyless it is a negative trigger through the pink / YELLOW(lock) and pink/green(unlock). If the truck did not have factory keyless they are five wire get them at the switch.

Well I bought the truck used but it didn't come with a keyless fob. It very well could have factory keyless. I have them hooked into the pink/orange and pink/black. Those are running to the actuator. I've tried hooking them into the pink/green and pink / YELLOW and got nothing. Blew fuses.

wow my friend, just finding the colors that match and hooking up are a big big mistake, you must test with a DMM to make sure you have the right wire.  if it blew then maybe its telling you that you have the wrong wire. Negative pulse=type B, on keyless entry models. Five wire,=type C, on non-keyless models, mastered from the driver switch.  This can be a sign that it is a 5 wire trigger.  look up 5 wire hook up and it should solve the issue.
