Ok originally i was planning on installing 1 window rollup module but now i decided i would rather have 2 installed, 1 for up and one for down control!!! so my question is how do i go about wiring the 2 so when arming the system the one rolls windows up and upon disarming the other rolls the windows down??

any help would be great... detailed diagrams would be even better though!!!

so if anyone has any info or tips on doing this please reply asap!!! thanks alot

So... what happens when its wizing down rain, and you have to go out somewhere? *beep beep*..Oh doodie, the windows are going down...

I would hook the "up" to the ground when armed wire...this would roll the windows up when you arm the system, and i would hook up "down" to an aux channel. That way you could roll the windows down only when you want, for the reason rbimdxe mentioned above. Or, even better, if you have 2 aux. channels, use 1 for up, and the other for down......i always have my dogs with me, so this is the option that works best for me....don't have to worry about my dogs getting caught in a window.

I got a DEI 530T, it controls 2 windows both up and down. the "ground when armed" output from my viper goes to the "roll both windows up" wire while and aux channel on the alarm goes to the "roll both windows down" wire. this module also has "1 touch" feature meaning I could just tap into each window switch (with a relay to reverse the polarity) if I wanted to control each window individually via remote. it just depends on what module you got, but pry just tie both the "windows up" wires together to your "ground when armed" wire on alarm, and both "windows down" wires to the aux wire on alarm.

thanks for the info....

i think im not even gonna waste my time and energy on trying to figure out how to hook up the modules i have... im gonna just buy the DEI 530T Window Automation System!! seems like it is much easier to hook up and has all the options and everything all in the one module so im gonna go with that!!! :) :)
