I was just wondering if I'm going to need any relays or a bypass or anything for the door locks. I didn't see anything about it when I searched. The alarm is a Hornet 564T. I don't have keyless entry currently, it's just a regular black key. And just to make sure, all I need for the remote start is 2 relays?

It is a PURPLE / drk.green wire at Driver Kick Panel or cluster small gray plug, pin 3. Lock is negative trigger thru an 820 ohm resistor. Unlock is negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays.

if you have a factory alarm you need to use a data module to integrate locks.

I'm TRYING to get the remote start working on an 07 Dodge Ram. I have searched and I have a few questions but I have to start a new topic, anyways I got this from another post,
"any 07 that i have done so far doesn't have a starter wire, just the PURPLE / brown mux wire and pink/white ignition so the wiring procedure is different that an 06. Checking to see if your specific truck has the starter wire would be the first step. If it does, its just like the 06. What kind of remote starter are you installing? You will need 1 or 2 relays depending if your brand has an onboard relay. Here is how i do them with AstroStart and the onboard relay:
Relay 1
* 86: 12V * 87: ground through 560 ohm resistor * 87a: (-) pulse before through 8.5 kohm resistor * 85: (-) Accessory programmable output from RS * 30: goes to 87a on the onboard relay on the RS
Onboard Relay
* 30: to PURPLE / brown at ignition harness * 87a: to 30 at relay mentioned above * 87: ground through 180 ohm resistor * Onboard relay programmed for starter output
Hope this works out for ya. It has worked well for me so far. Im sure you can figure it out if you dont have the onboard relay, you would just have to wire up 2 relays. Post up with any questions."
I don't have a factory alarm or keyless entry. I didn't see an answer to this, 87a on the first relay, what does it hook up to? The PURPLE / brown wire? Also i'm using a Hornet 564T, it has the relay pack, is that what I'm going to be using as a second relay? If so, what wires are considered to be #30, 87,87a, etc. I'd love someone forever if I could get a diagram.

doorlocks are single wire through resistors and relays. there is a starter wire, it's a negative wire and it's also the accessory wire, also run trough relays and resistors. in short you are gonna need 5 relays and a handful of resistors to do this truck: two for locks, two for starter/acc. and one for lights, unless the unit has an option for negative light ouptput. i have done several of these and they are still not too difficult if you just pay close attention. if you need any help just ask. also, i have never had to use an integration module on a dodge truck for locks.

if i'm not mistaken, transponders are on all models starting in 07...but i could be mistaken

Thanks Installer_mss. I was mistaken, I do have a sentry key, thats it though. I've seen 3 different wiring diagrams on how to wire up the relays and resistors, and I've tried them all. I don't know how else to wire it. Can someone show me the correct one?
