I recently installed a blinking 12 volt LED in my dash to serve as a dummy security system.

( Parts Express part # 070-064 is anyone is curious)

Can anyone tell me how much this blinking LED will drain my battery?

OK ...yes i know that I can run this LED over night without problems....but....

What  if  I park my car for  3 days without starting it?   A week?  How long can an LED run before the drain on the battery's power becomes noticable?

Thanks

You could probably run a small LED for a month with no problems.  The battery drain is minimal.
