i have a viper 791xv installed in my 2000 jeep grand cherokee. i came across an extra shock sensor to install and a glass breakage sensor. the glass breakage sensor came with a wiring harness to easily plug-in along with the standard shock sensor. so there is a shock sensor on zone 2 and glass breakage sensor on zone 4 of that input. i chose to install the output of the extra shock sensor on the blue wire of the main wiring harness which also happens to be zone 4.

now whenever i unlock my car from the remote it displays that a sensor on zone 2, the trunk(does this mean the blue wire?), AND the door triggers were ALL set off. why is this? did i forget to diode isolate something?

the glass breakage sensor and the first shock sensor are wired so no diode is needed (as described in the viper installation manual) and i don't see any reason to need a diode and the blue input wire. so anybody have any idea whats going on?
