Hey guys i installed a Viper 791VX along with remote start. now i added the remote start module and the remote start is working great but what i noticed was that before i put the alarm in i saw service theft system error come on. Before i installed the alarm i took it to the dealership to find out what was going on. After two days they told me there washing there hands on it that they couldnt find the problem. There where getting a error code which i think was P3055 which means the key is not communicating with the ignition. Since i wasnt seeing a issue i continued with the alarm now i have two problems the alarm will go off out of know where and i have the unlock the car to see why. the LCD remote shows the door was opened but it was not. Now i did some testing and noticed that if i disconnect the after market headunit and give the car about 2 hours the Serivce theft system error goes away but the problem with the alarm is still happening but jsut not as much. Now for the after market head unit im using the GMRC-01 for the aftermarket harness for the radio. and used all Directed electronics equipment for the alarm. So does any have any ideas of whats going on or what i could do to fix it? Thanks guys!

1. The "Service Theft System" is a known issue. If you use the search feature on this forum, you should find the solution.

2. As for the false door trigger....hmm. What are you using for door trigger for the alarm? I've always used the underdash courtesy light without problems, but maybe you'd want to try connecting to the four, separate, individual door-latch wires instead.
