On the manual it says that the data wire on the vehicle is RED / blue. There was no RED / blue but rather a solid red wire. And for the ignition data it says that its yellow/black. BLACK / YELLOW was found instead.

Has anyone else used this module on this vehicle? Did you find the right wires stated by the manual?

Is there a way that I can test these wires, and what specifically should I be looking for on my meter?

I really dont want to use a universal bypass because its my friends car and he doesnt want to lose a key. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There may be more then one plug at the key cylinder. Try looking for another plug under the key cylinder.

There are two plugs going up to the key cylinder. You may be at the wrong one.

You can test the ignition wire. It will read 12v when the key is turn to ON, and about 0v when the key is OFF. You can not test the data wire.

The instructions that come with the PKH3 are usually pretty accurate about colors. You can also look for the ground wire (BROWN / yellow) in the same plug as the above wires. The ground wire will be on the end of the plug (pin 1), the data wire will be next to it (pin 2), and the ignition wire will be a few spots down in pin 6.

Another note....
I always use the BROWN / yellow wire to ground the PKH3 module. Makes installation a lot easier. All the wires (except the couple you cut and tape off) get sent up the the steering column. Send your "ground when running" wire from the remote start up there as well. Join the GWR from the PKH3 to the GWR from the remote start up near the key cylinder.

Did you happen to get a doorlock module for the car as well? Makes installation a lot easier since you won't have to take apart the drivers door to run your Arm and Disarm wires.

No doorlock module. Im used to getting the arm/disarm (Well only the disarm wire) without taking apart the door panel. The install might not be as *clean* as if you did remove the panels, but you'd really have to look and see to notice. I wish I did have that module though. For some reason, getting the lock/unlock wires are harder than getting the arm/disarm wires. They're just REAL thin and easy to break.

I believe the RED / blue wire is actually blue/red in the rsx and tsx
