Trying to install a Carvox CX999 on my 03 P71. Car is all still factory. Have done radios, speakers, amps, subs, driving lights, etc. Never attempted one of these, which is why I want to experiment on my car first. Finding myself slightly intimidated and not sure where to start. Anyone familiar with this brand/model, and have an idea of where to begin? Also, can someone provide wiring info so I know where to make my connections? I was told by someone on another board that I will need to use diodes on the door locks? Any insight you pros can give is appreciated as I am looking to add to my skill set. Thanks!

i havent seen any new fords that need diodes <yet> except for the door triggers but you can pull up a wiring chart from this website i'm sure it probably needs a bypass though just make sure to read the digram for the vehicle and ask questions if you have any problems and on the 03' DO NOT use a test light or probe meter everything

Thanks for the info. The only thing I know for sure is that it does not need a bypass module as the P71's are non-PATS. But, after doing more research on this site and some others, I am scrapping the Carvox unit I bought. I should have just gone with what I've bought in the past- Viper. Never had a problem with them, and I had one that I had moved in/out of 3 cars. I appreciate all the help/advice you all can offer!
