i want to use a electric aerial to push up a monitor on the dash but i can only find fully automatic ones to do this, i want to put it on a switch like the switch used for electric windows and just pop up the monitor about 6 inches using the aerial is it possible to do this using a fully automatic aerial or will i have to contiue my search for a semi auto matic one. cheers mark

that is also known as an antenna.

you can wire a fully-automatic antenna to work semi-automatically (manually operated)

The colonial (ie from England's oldest colony) means antenna! Better to use window motor, or custom from RS etc. switched antennae unknown for last 20 years.
