Finishing install of 564T in 06 Dodge Ram 2500 and I have questions regarding Directfax 1084: 1) When I checked the ohms from the PURPLE / brown 2nd acc wire, they are 320 to start and 720 accessory instead of the 180 and 610 as stated in the document - should I use resistors of the actual values? 2) Since I am using the light gauge (-) 2nd acc and start wires with the relays I don't need to use the heavy gauge Orange (accessory) or the Pink/White (2nd ignitiion) wires, right? Thanks, Gary

1. Try what is stated in the Directfax, if it doesn't work, change the values.
2. PINK/WHITE is your IGN wire and needs to be hooked up. Not sure about the ORANGE ACC wire that your talking about ?

Jeff, 1) I will try those values on the resistors 2) pink/white and orange wires from the heavy gauge relay satellite wiring on the 564t - i'm guessing these don't get used because of the negative 2nd ignition and accessory wires, right? (I connected the ignition wire already - pink/white on the dodge wiring harness) Thanks, Gary

The pink/white and orange are used to trigger the two relays that your resistors run through with a ground on the other side of the coil. If your using the thin gauge (-) outputs to trigger the relays then youd have constant 12v on the other side of the coil and then you wouldnt need the pink/white and orange. Or I suppose you could use both thick and thin gauge, one on each side of the coil, either way its all just used to trigger those relays.

Oh, I thought you were referring to an ORANGE wire and the PINK/WHITE wire on the steering column.
