sorry i am so lost on this. Trying to hook up outside lights like neons or strobes to my aux setting. Its a red and white wire. Tried to do it just by grounding lights. and running power to red and white but didnt work. So i got a relay like this posted_image

and tried every way i can think of and cant do it. Can someone please help me??? ( Picture i just copied from somewhere else

Relays are your friend. Realistically, this link should show you all you'll need to finger out how to use your aux uot to trigger your lights.

i did what they said still wont work I hit aux and nothing at all. Maybe its the relay im using. its a 40 amp heavy duty headlight relay. Would that make difference?? The red white wire i am using is skinny and is negative charge i did what the pic said ... nothing
