We bought a used 2000 Durago and has remote door locks. When you press unlock, doors unlock but with no lights flashing. When you press to lock, only the horn sounds

Dodge stated thats how it works. I just want the lights to come on when I unlock and horn and lights to flash when I lock the care.

I'm good with handy work so if someone may have a diagram/parts would be great.

Any help would be appreciated.

Anthony

This could be done with 2 relays. The only problem would be, if your vehicle is turned off and you blow your horn, your lights will light up.  This will only happen if the vehicle is off.  If you need the diagram let me know.

If you could send a drawing I would appreciate it. I thought that I may need 2 relays and even a hd flasher tied to the lock side of the actuators.

I'm not a electrical guy just from what I was seeing on 12volt site. Could you also tell me what relays to by and how I can tell if I have a positive or neg system.

Thank You very much.....Anthony
