I was fixing this alarm in a 2002 eclipse (its a viper 1000) and the remote does not work! How do I program this remote?? Its the actual viper remote!

Download the manual:

Search for Car Alarm Manuals...search for "Viper". The manual you need will be near the top.
Go to page 29-30 and program for Step 1 - Auto/Learn Standard

ya i tried but I dont have a remote that works! Just this one that needs to be programed and when I put the fuse back on the constant power cable the alarm is activated and I cant shut it off because the remote is not programmed!!!!

continue reading the manual, it tells you how to disarm the alarm without a remote.
Once the alarm is disarmed, then program your remote.

Put fuse in....turn key on....hit valet button once....wait a couple seconds, alarm should shut off. Then try to program remote.

i was successful in disarming the alarm but not programming the remote :(
